My websites provide niche coupons for specific markets.  Many coupon sites provide numerous coupons so it can be hard to find what you are looking for.

We have affiliate agreements plus sell advertising related specifically to each site.  The goal of the sites is to get a large amount of niche specific traffic by providing relevant money saving coupons and tips, plus any relevant advice.

For design I used two different CSS templates and added the rest of the code myself.

I would love to hear opinions specifically on usability, navigation, SEO (including domain name selection) and general layout.

Way too busy, for my tastes. I glanced at the two sites and there was so much content crowded together I just got exhausted.

I think what would be more effective is to make the manufacturer names more prominent .... you have a lot of small text, and it makes it harder for a viewer to see brand names front and center in the middle of all of this, which I would think is what they want to see .... maybe take their logos, and make them the menu tabs at the top of the page for the auto rentals, for example .... basically, get their names front and center.

Don`t try to give the reader everything in one shot .... it gets too overwhelming ....

It is a bit cluttered, but useable - I just used it to find a discount for an upcoming trip.

You should, however, test links frequently because at least two related to American Express are broken.

rental one is not impressive and it seems less useful before you start doing something (which you may not want to). i clicked on one linked and wanted to get back, was not obvious to click on the logi. i miss the overall pronounced value prop, so many are out there.
on electronics it is more relevant but very buzy, fonts are small, accents are not very evident.
hope it helps.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.  For the rental site we need a fair amount of coupons due to the amount of options out there - e.g. weekly, weekend, upgrades, destination specific etc.  We have received good feedback from frequent renters.  The electronics site does need some cleanup, especially on the homepage.  One of the value propositions on the car rental site is we feature many discounts that other coupon sites do not have and we provide relevant rental advice.  The top menus also make it easy to find discounts for a specific provider.

Steve - thanks for the tip on the links, and glad you found a discount you could use.  This is a part time venture and one of the tough things is keeping up with changes by vendors.
