Hello, I just put up the index page of my website. Would people please view it and let me know what they think of the design. It is only the main page, so none of the link will work.I want to know what everyone thinks of the design before spending a lot of time to complete the site. Let me know what you think of: the colors, the fonts, the graphics, the load time, my logo, everything. One part of the page that is not up, but will be, is contact information on the left side of the page. I want people to know right off that they can trust us. I also gave a short description at the top of the page so that visitors will know what the business is. Thanks for looking.

Timothy the site looks goos but i would think about covering more space with the site layout. Also, if possible try to use some more attractive colors. These colors are a lil faded. Try to find some web2.0 colors to make the site more appealing.

Thanks for the thoughts. I do plan to add more content to the page, so there will be less open space. I just added another color to the page, which  I had thought of doing it before, but was not quite sure if it would work. I just used the green to highlight some of the page. Let me know what you think.

Couple of things: First, if you`re going to keep the table effect that narrow, at least center it on the page. With it all over to the left like that, it just looks cramped.

I think as well, that the fade from white to silver looks washed out. Since you`re dealing with sports cards, which usually are high-contrast, brilliant, and filled with color and action, you should likely consider a site color scheme that harmonizes with that sort of colorful aspect. The other argument is to have such a white & gray site that the cards themselves would stand out dramatically.

If that`s the case, then this initial example should show it by having some sports cards in places where you think they`d work nicely.

As it is, the bare-bones look isn`t enough to be "art nouveau," modernistic, or stylish. It just looks bare bones. So move either direction, and make it more solid, or work with an artist to build up the elegance part that`s missing.

I am in the process of changing the appearance of the site so that it fills more of the screen. About the color, I am going to add alittle more color to it, but I will also be adding card images to the site to brighten it up. The header (at some point) will be an image with card in the background, so that will change the fading look. Thanks for the thoughts everyone. Once I have added more to the site I will repost. But if any one else has more thoughts I would love to hear them.

Very narrow and cramped; you will either end up limiting the content you can add to a page, or end up messing up your layout with too much content.

The gradient images in the middle don`t blend well; being images, the text on them aren`t effective for SEO, nor will links on them work.

I would rather see some of your services on the front page, not just generalizations that don`t really say anything. You want "future business", but what exactly is your business?

The page looks unbalanced with different sized columns.

I have two websites that I would like some expert advise on. I would like your overall opinion of the websites, their ease of use. On my blog I would like to know how well I`m taking advantage of my affiliate marketing, etc.
