I like the changes. :-) It makes the site begin to come alive. I think there are a number of design changes that would make it visually more compelling, but this version certainly works a lot better than the original.

Good job! :-) Keep working at it, and it`ll become excellent. Ideas4 is right, and if you can convert over to your own domain with a meaningful phrase, that`ll be another major help.
