Hello everyone,
I'm a young girl who got the idea of starting a custom jewellery online store couple of months ago. Since then i've started learning how to make jewellery and have designed a website from scratch using microsoft office live. I'm just getting started with everything and haven't started marketing yet. I wanted to get some critiques early on in this process so i can make the necessary changes. Please share your honest opinion or suggestions. Thank You!

For a first time with the help of office live, your website does look reasonably good. It matches your website name pink and all organized in right way in the right places. Not to much content but I do like to suggest you to add why people need to buy from you and specialities of your product differentiating from others. ALso contact forum doesn't need to be that big.
Try to add testimonials from people whom you already sold.
Finally an important aspect of an website to be attracted by search engine and in order for that too happen, you website needs to have things like meta tags which is missing and usually thats the case if you use site builders. Try to learn about it and add meta tags and keywords to help search egine find your site if searched.

Thanks for your reply. Those are all good ideas.. I will definitely implement them. I'm always working on the site but i'm not really too happy with it as i feel like office live doesn't give me a lot of options to change things around and i feel like it doesn't look very professional.

Yes, office live and any other site builders for that matter are very limited in their functionalities. It like asking a robot to cook you Houston chilli when he can only cook egg omlatte breakfast and can do it well. So it is upto you to make use of the tool and get the best. Thats were the web developers play a good role.
I think your site is pretty good! Do you make the jewelry yourself?
I noticed that there is only one buy button... I suggest you get the buy buttons up on every page ASAP so that interested customers can buy from you!

I went through your site and it looks good to me. I would suggest you to have a logo for your website as there isn't any. Design one for yourself if you can via photo shop or illustrator. Bring the text "Pink Diamond Design custom made jewellery" to the left. The navigation bar i think can be designed in a much better way. Ideally you should either centralize it or stretch it till the end.
One major problem from SEO point of view is that you have no page title and meta description there. Make sure to enter that.
