My wife and I are having this professionally designed and would like your great feed back. We own an Errand Service Company.

The site is not 100% complete at this point, but there is enough to get a good feel for it.

Our goal is to make it a simple, easy to navigate  and right to the point. Our client only use our service because they don`t have the time to do it.

Thank you for your great feed back,

Aaron

Overall, I like the look and feel of it.

Your SEO ....

1. No meta description or keywords.
2. Get rid of the word "Homepage" in the title.
3. Move the CSS and javascript to external files and import them.
4. Image alt tags like "Home Link", "Services Link" don`t do anything for seo purposes; use keywords or keyphrases, or at least a reference that it is an image.
5. You have no h1 or h2 tags.
6.
Code to Text Ratio : 8.15 %
7. Validate it with W3C.

Your location should be the number one SEO keyword. Add "Broward and Palm Beach" to your title, your keywords tags, your description, and repeat across your pages.

Realistically, you only care if you come on top when people search for "Palm Beach errand service", not the generic "errand service".

Thank you so much for the advice.

Is this standard SEO that should be done if you are paying to have your site optimized? I hired a "professional" optimizer and I will tell him exactly what you said.

Thank you again,

Aaron

You are right, I only need to rank high for searches in my service area.

Great advice,

Aaron

Yes, that is basic SEO that should be in all of your pages. Also, unique page titles and descriptions for each page.

Webline has listed all the main points, and they`re standard for anyone claiming to offer SEO in their overall package.

However, where you would likely pay a specialist would be in developing your "themes" for each page. That`s the central key phrase (and its relations) that you highlight on each individual page. Each page is an opportunity to strongly push those particular, thematic key phrases.

For example: Your central theme is an "errand service," and that`s likely going to be for your home page. First: Do you want "errand service?" Is that the real theme? How many people search for "errand service" when they go to Google, to name only 1 search engine?

Even narrowing it down to Broward and Palm Beach---do you think people will type in "palm beach errand service?" What about "concierge?" Isn`t that a popular synonym?

Then look at your content. Let`s just go with "errand service." How many times does that actual phrase appear on your home page? Once?

Bottom line is that before you can really determine your SEO writing, you have to designate each page theme, then the top 15 key phrases that support that theme. AFTER you have those down on paper, you can check the underlying code, read the content, and look at other typical SEO techniques.
