Enh...for REAL fishermen, it`s always summer.....in our deluded minds. :-) After all, there isn`t a single day when we don`t just assume we`ll go out and catch lots of fish. Despite time after time coming home empty-handed, we do it over and over again. If that`s not the definition of delusion....madness? LOL!

I`m slowly starting to implement the changes. I was hoping to get your guys opinion on the "Shop Now" blurb on the main page and products page. This is the two pages most of my customers are going to see.  I`ve eliminated the individual info product pages and it now goes to the store page.  Done a few other little things. I`m still bugging my customers to send in some pictures of them, I really think some more people catching fish picture would help establish creditability.  Anyone have any ideas for some grassroots ducktape marketing.  I`m kicking myself for missing an opportunity this weekend.  I whent to a fishing show expo, walked out of it and looked in the parking lot to realize there where 500 cars who were my targeted customers.  I had 50 business cards on me and stuck one in windshield wipers.  If I would of been smart, I would of made up fliers and stuck them in the windshield wipers both days.  Missed alot of sales.  Anyways, thanks in advance.

It`s much better, compared to whatever my memory has of your last
version. I know you had product info and purchasing on two different
pages.

Anyway, the way your logo sits on a separate box with drop-shadows
kind of bothers me visually speaking. It feels like a little window that I
want to minimize or close. Not so much on the home page but on all the
others. Compositionally, it pushes over the layout of your navigation tabs
and the page headline like "Shulure Products". I`d like to see the words
"Home" and "Shulure Products" line up with the black line around the
lures. Did that make sense?

I would also put the Shop Now box with the logos below your contact info
on the home page and below the links on the interior pages. It is a very
bold box and you just don`t need it to overshadow other important
information.

Under Featured Lures on the home page, I`d make the photo clickable and
linked to the appropriate page for that lure. You might also put a price
under it so people know it can be bought.

On the products page, I would lose the prices depicting the price ranges.
It seems kind of confusing. I don`t usually see price ranges listed on e-
commerce sites with category descriptions. People are cool finding out
the exact price for the specific product on the next page in. I would also
shorten the phrase to "learn more and purchase now". Or something less
wordy and more direct.

And I`ve noticed clicking on some things seemed to bring me to pages
that might have been part of your old site, like the "More" at the bottom
of the home page. Go through the entire site and double-check your
links.

I`m half blind, and get bleary-eyed looking at a computer monitor. Could you map the entire box, including the PayPal and credit card logos to the link? I figured out I could click directly on the "Shop Now," and that worked. But it would`ve been way easier to just click the "white box" :-) Y`know?

The other thing that`s better, is at least having a `home" button on the shopping page. I think it ws there before, but I don`t remember. Anyway, I`d really like a totally obvious way to get from there back to the ShuLure main site. In this case, given your issues of separate sites, I see nothing wrong with a banner, graphic, or menu button on the shopping area that says just that: "Return to ShuLure Main Site."

I liked that I could click the logo graphic and get back there, but it should be spelled out in a nice way, in actual words. In my opinion.

People are pretty sophisticated on the Web these days. I don`t think it`d be disruptive.

Ok young Sir - Here's an endorsement for you...

I was watching a YouTube of a guy off Palm Beach, FL re: kayak fishing - and he

mentioned your lures and how successful he's been with the squish in particular, I had to look closely at the video to figure out the name on the packaging and played around on google till I found your site.   Oddly enough I had asked about the squish lure at several local tackle shops (west palm beach) with not luck.

After finding your site, I made my purchase of three squish lures, then started poking around to see, now knowing your brand name, if I could find them locally - and stumbled on to this post/site.

Not only is your site very simple, attractive, and easy to use/shop - but you've inspired me to embark on my own entrepreneurial adventure.   You're in HIGH SCHOOL???

Good for you - really, you should be very proud of yourself.  I know I will personally continue to add to your revenue in the future.

Great ideas, great site, great products - I'm sure with some constant tweaking and testing you'll be dominant in your niche, now and in the future.

GOOD LUCK!  And thanks for the inspiration....

Signed, Guy who's about to catch mad fish from his kayak, with your product!

As a USA professional developer, I  "kinda like it".  A few things about it bother me though.  The color is ALMOST right.  The box floating as the logo makes it feel like there is something hiding under it.   That needs work and a border or bevel on the box, maybe moved down or slightly shrunk.

The color in the picture should be more vibrant, brilliant, more color.

Why did you do away with pages that talk about the products in the cart?  That is important.  Needs more bulleted points, -  Features., strengths.   with simple short testimonials, 3 talking bout success and features.

People who are NOT fishermen should be listened to at least as much.

You could benefit by learning more about marketing and research, and testing.

Check out some of our articles on internet marketing that apply

I think you've done a great start and a good business with "motivated buyers" in a niche.  Needs just a little more work to stay ahead of competition.
