The site looks great but maybe you want to use your home page a litter better. My suggestions:

Cut the details of the furniture and add some content of "how it works" as it looks very exciting but hidden so may be you would want to highlight it.

Right column for facebook and tweeter is too big may be you want to rethink on the size and use the space for more product display.

cannot return to home page may be you want to add a link on the logo.

It looks like only registered users can check out. You might want to consider allowing guests to be able to check out as well. Some people they just want to buy and might not be interested in signing up. Lots of shopping sites do that.

Hi Dave,

Here are a few suggestions:

In the first 10 seconds your user shoud be able to figure out what you do.

I know that your headline (or maybe that's your logo) that says "Group Purchase Online,"  but I would take it a step further.

Add something to the header that really explains what yous site is all about.

Something like, "Save Money, Shop With Strangers. Yes, I said shop with stangers.  Daily deals are available to everyone who buys before the countdown timer runs out (see the timer to the left, right, top or wherever it is in relation to this banner). What's the catch?  We have to sell X widgets before this awesome price is available. So, check back often throughout the day (or we'll  keep you posted via email, whatever your policy is) to let you know how it's going. At the end, if we've met the magic number, you'll receive a congratulations message."  Ok, something like that.

The photos of the white furniture are a little difficult to see, perhaps ask your designer to ad drop shadow or adjust the saturation of the image.

Consider making the credit card logos smaller. Most people will assume that you accept credit cards because it is an online purchase.

What does the "find motivational" quotes on the left rail have to do with your buying service. Seems in incongruent with your brand.

In the Facebook like box, reduce the amount of faces shown. We don't really need to see all of those faces in such a narrow space.  If someone is interested in your KLOUT they see the number of people who like you.

Consider adding more product images on both sides, or consider showing the last deal. So potential customers can see what a value they can receive.

Customers should see tweets from you on a daily basis in your Twitter feed. If you are going to post the same product, change your text. "Comfrotable .... " appears twice.

You have over 3,000 followers. That's great. Consider congratuling the winner on Twitter. At the check out process ask for their Twtter handle.

I wish you luck.

Best regards,

Wendy

P.S. Let me know if you like any of the suggestions.

I have to be honest ... the page seems a little too "spammy". These are precisely the kind of sites that I click out of after the first 2 seconds.

I suggest you use your link bar on the left side to provide categorized lists of your items. You may also want to tone down the font - large wording is brutish.

Your blog should have a sidebar that links specific posts, so that your readers can click on the post of their choosing,  instead of having to scroll through every blog post to find one that interests them.

gpoau, I like the colors of your website, and your basic is layout is decent. However, I would make the width of the tempalte fluid, becasue from my screen, it looks like you are wasting real state space on the sides. Your content would look nicer if you gave it more space, and you have the space to give. If you make with width of the site fluid, the template will adapt to the user's screen (In case that the very narrow tempalte was motivated by oyur worry that some people have very tiny laptops or netbooks)

Also, I would make the images for the credit cards you accept smaller and of nicer quality.

How about a slide show? only like 3 images though, it can take long to load too many images. If you do, optmize images so that they are small as possible, yet of nice enough quality and resolution.

I like the color you are using and I like the user of gradient.

Bests,

Hi Dave,

The site looks good but I am confused as to why you have a comments box on the landing page - are you a shop or a blog? Otherwise good stuuf!
