here is a  clip of my future website. please let me know what you think and what could be better? the clocks in the header are not working yet, but they will look like this. http://screencast.com/t/BvTPr7dEV
and a picture of the same http://screencast.com/t/nLujAkeYwJL

please let me know what important changes do you think should be done. thanks in advance.

I don't really get what you're trying to do here.

You are forced to click on a video player, you can't access any of the links on the page, then it leads you nowhere ...

I'm sorry, but you're going to have to make a lot of changes ... the site can't be navigated.

thamks for posting.

it is only a sample of the layout design. I have to start somewhere. I thought I will get some feedback how people like it or not and what changes could be needed.

I'm a professional web developer (Joomla) and I like it.  It's clean, and draws in the user.  Not too keen on some of the accent colors, but otherwise I think it's fabulous.

Dear Forexidea,

First of all, you are very brave and smart to have others review your website. Brave because of all the time and energy that goes into developing a website that you feel  is good and may not be well received by critics. Smart for exactly the same reason - we are our own worst enemy when it comes to developing something that is meant to be beneficial to the consumer and ultimately fail to deliver. Case in point: the movie industry who continually creates terrible movies (e.g. Battlefield Earth! What was John Travolta thinking!) - major production companies must use test audiences to ensure  a movie is remotely well done.

Second: remember when you ask others on a professional website to write your request with the utmost professionalism. Your delivery/request here was not. While it is tempting to write quickly similar to a text message without paying attention toward grammar, punctuation, and capitlaization - don't do it! It's leads us to believe that this is NOT a professional request but instead something deceptive. I was reluctant to click on the link. I did and feel I can give you some insight.

1. What are you trying to sell? Forex is a confusing name - what does it mean? It doesn't directly relate to Learn and Earn. What does that mean by the way?

2. What are the Sydney clock icons on the top and why are there five of them. Use your graphic deliberately and with purpose. So far the message on this website is completely cryptic and convoluted. WHAT IS YOUR MESSAGE!? What do I hope to gain from this web site?

Based on these two points that's all I can say because it provides no context for the product or service you are providing - or is it something else entirely? While the site has some pleasing attributes (font, colors) the purpose is completely unknown.

Good luck and hope this is helpful.

Dear Aceica63

I understood Your point and thank You for the feedback. I think every feedback is helpful, especially for me as a nebee to all this stuff.

the site you are seeing right now is the first step of the layout design. the 5 clocks all with sidney right now will be later the time of sidney, tokio, london, mumbai and new york.

the text right now is only lorem ipsum, the related text will be added later. forex is trading the currency market. with forex learn and earn I want to say that people can learn forex trading on my website and later earn money by trading and participating in demo contests with real money prices. that is learning and then earning. simple as that.

I hope I made my point clear. thanks again for posting.

I agree with Aceica63

In your post you described your concept.  I don't know who your market will be, but I wouldn't have known any of that by landing on your page - and I'd probably be interested in it if I immediately saw that's what it was.

You only have a couple seconds to grab someone when they land on your site.

Good luck with your project
