We are a new Seafood Wholesale Distribution Company, we are interested is suppling to major markets.  However, we want to make sure that our web site has some style and a professional look and feel to it.  Before we upload our Shopping cart, we want to see if customers can move through out site with ease.

Your commends are welcome for our growth in this business.

The site looks good. I don`t know if I like it being all the way on the left side leaving all that empty space to the right but that is a personal thing I guess.

some problems I would address are:

Your Misc Items button takes me to an order form. Nothing Misc listed there.

I don`t know if it is me or the colors or what but it just does not come across as professional to me. Here again this could be more personal then anything but I tend to trust business that are in black and white. A nice white back ground, clear text and easey navigation or key to me staying or buying from a site.

On that note I wonder if it would be good to link your product list on the left side to your products. Just a thought.

Thank you for your reply, I`m going to think about your recommendations.  I`m left handed and sometimes, I might do things using the right side of my brain.

Thanks

I would put your location on the home page, and how the product is protected for shipping.

No prices?  I know that seafood prices fluctuate daily, but some kind of price mechanism short of purchase would be nice.  (B&H Photo puts the price on the product in he shopping cart, so they can dynamically change prices).

Being a seafood lover, and also near Supreme Lobster, here in the Chicago area, I was particularly looking at your site from a user perspective. I don`t much care for the Supreme site, and thought I`d see what`s different.

The first annoying thing is that you have your product categories listed in bullets down the left margin, none of which are links. I figured I`d click on "crabs" and go right to the page about crabs. But, I hunted around and saw the "Products" tab. I clicked that.

So that got me another list of bullets, none of which were links. Yes, I clicked the "more details," but so what? I couldn`t click on "Snow Crab," get a pricing and quantity list, and click quantity, and continue shopping. I think you`d be better off just having a Yellow Pages ad, and have people call you to get orders.

Bottom line? If I were a restaurant owner or an at-home customer, I`d not use your site. It`s not user-friendly, and doesn`t make it easy for me to order anything.
