Hi All:

I allow anyone to use my content on packaging with my permission and citing me as the source. My articles are syndicated around the world.

My problem is that websites are ripping of my content as their own with no accreditation. In one particular incident the website is plagerizing verbatim and using my content as their own. The problem is that the contact info on Whois  is fictious.

I`ve tried contacting the hosting domain in writing and on the phone with no reponse and the cease and desist letters are ignored. Does anyone know of a governing body I can report this to? or how they have resolved a similar situation?

Thnx

This is a touchy subject. O.K. we`ll start with how to brush your teeth. First line,  hold your toothbrush at an angle. Now you write it, Hold your toothbrush, in your right hand, at a downward angle. Some things I don`t think you can really get around, because the original concept is still going to be there. Take privacy policies for example, IOUONE2 sent me a link to his, so I could see a sample of one. I really enjoyed reading his, but you can`t take his and just change words around, to me that would be plagiarism. I also looked at 20 or more online, to get an idea as to what to put in one, but the bottom line is, we still need basically the same things written in them to protect our customers privacy. So how do you know when you`ve crossed that thin line?

Not long ago, we had an interesting discussion (for awhile) about the same topic: "Plagiarized."

I do remember that one. How one company had copied and pasted all of her information and put it on their website, word for word.
