I am trying to find an online photo bank where I can buy images and display them on my website, this way I obtain the rights to display that image. I typed in "photo bank" in google and some good ones came up. However, I am looking for ones with car images, each manufacturer and model and I cannot find it anywhere. If I want to buy a Toyota Prius image, no search results come up in any of the photo banks. Does anyone know of a website that would help me with the type of photos I am looking for?

Thank you,
RJ

I did find this place ref`d on the msn car site http://www.evox.com/

Corbis (owned by Bill Gates) and Getty are the ones I`m most familiar with but I`ve never seen them do collection like you`re asking; I`m thinking it`s an industry specific thing but you should be able to find someone who`s complied this niche (if not maybe you should) as its a fairly universal "need".
I popped over to look at what cars.com (I think Paul Allen was one of the primary drivers for car.com following his MS days; used to have a great search tool) and Edmond`s uses (Cars: Mfg provided on new cars and user/seller provided for used; ditto for Edmonds/autotrader: ditto et. al. from what I found quick; at least there`s only ____ manufacturers for you to chase down!~)

FYI ... there might be a legal reason to NOT use a new car image on a used car ad (don`t know what you got cooking but that`s something to keep in mind, or not!~)  Best of luck to you!
