Has anyone ever noticed a hike in sales when switching from solely Paypal to paypal and another means of taking orders?

I was just wondering...

Do you manufacture your own jerky?

Hi Turkish, yes we do.  It looks like you have alot of different businesses.  And yes, just accepting paypal is limiting.

You might want to also check out this thread about PayPal.

I`m trying to develop a new system of multiple payment methods for small businesses ...
but really you should be able to just enter your info without a PayPal account.

Some people don`t trust PayPal though, which is why it`s good to offer more.

NIKOLE, Since I know you`re into colfdusion the development kit Book gives you an example of how to construct a multiple payment gateway, see the only thing you have to do is keep it in a session or cookie.

Edgar - I`m doing most of my sites in PHP right now. I don`t know why ... just my mood I suppose. I`m feelin` all opensourcey and the PHP hosting is cheaper for my clients than the CFML hosting. Not that I don`t still have a bunch of CFML sites, including my own, but still.

Turkish ... one of the hosting companies I buy from uses 2CO, and from a user standpoint (which matters most of all!) it is very easy and simple. The checkout is fast and easy. I am thinking about setting up an account with them this week ... I will let you know how it goes!
