There is nothing wrong with outsourcing a business task.  External linking is no exception.

Like anything on the various outsource networks, you need to make sure you have a way to monitor the production.

The last thing you need is someone using blackhat techniques to do a white hat mission.  Your site will end up in the search engine black hole.

There are a number of white hat services automation services that do this, and the task of using the service is time consuming and can be outscourced through the various outsourcing networks.

Just use good due diligence.

Paying someone else can open a bunch of problems - you don't know where they are putting your links and if they are in the wrong spot - could cause more harm with the search engines.

Do it yourself - learn and take control.

I have done this job from GAF. It worked for for $30.

Interesting discussion, I have been wondering this myself.  I have been devoting part of my day to link building, but it is definitely time consuming!

Like any outsourcing, you just have to choose your partner wisely if you decide to go that route.  I am personally spending 15-30 minutes a day building links to get to the 140 or so links that I need to get me #1 in all the keywords I deem important in my local market.

I was searching today for the same reason you were...quality back links are hard to find.  It seems like once you have a high rank/PR, few businesses really want to help anyone out.  If you come across any other methods or find some articles that state that buying the links is safe, please let me know!

I think it`s ok, just make sure you will track those backlinks which they do for you, not be spammed.

There are many ways to get backlinks to your site. A few methods are worth your time. And many are not worth your time.

I am going to give you a recipe for getting massive amounts of backlinks in a very short amount of time. This is a recipe that is used by the gurus to get tons of traffic.

If you are paying for excellent person and regularly moderating the quality of links and the quality is fine then i think that there is no problem to pay someone for link building, if you don't have enough time to do that.

I think this is not a bad idea to hire a professional to make back links for your website but be assured about black hat technique because Google can traces the black hat and put your site in their spam list.
