Hi all,

Has anyone worked with or submitted their product idea online?  I submitted my patented product idea to P&G and after about 2 months the status changed from "new" to "sent for technical review".  I think this is promising but not sure.

Sharing any past experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

Victor

That does sound promising and exciting.  I liked your website, and product too. But your video was in a zip file, so I didn`t see it.

Good luck!

Hi again well I heard back from P & G 6months and two weeks later.. I got a short one paragraph statement that they were not interested in unsolicited submission..... am I wrong or do they not run the connect and develope program.  I will watch them carefully to make sure they do not make this product without  me and my patent.  I am not sure if they have been looking my idea over or they just now got to it.   I wish you better luck with them.

Hi,

My number is 827 and I submitted it on 8/3/07.  How long did it take you to move into "technical review" from "new" status?  I would say it took me about 3 weeks.  That seems positive.  Who knows.  I`ll let the community know how I make out.

Sorry to hear about the letter and thanks for the feedback.

I move into technical review about two weeks after submitting.  It took six months plus to hear back.  I hope you have better luck with them.  Your product looks great. I just hope we can trust them not to produce our ideas.  They would be to big to sue..... best of luck
