vwebworld, is right for HTML sitemap you should have a link from home page that is fine. and if you have xml then you should try to do grouping of xml sitemap.

I never come across such doubt regarding maximum link to be indexed by google from single page. Even my home page has more then 100 links and I don't think there is any such criteria of indexation.

Google doesn't heart ranking until the outgoing links are legitimate. If you are adding outbound links which are not relevant to your site and the purpose of such link is to rank other websites then it will be considered as link farming and your site may get penalty. There is nothing wrong in adding 100 outbound link in HTML sitemap.
