Hey SuN programmers...

Every once in a while I get a page in the forums that doesn`t format correctly.  The posts that people write ends up extending too far to the right.  The words go underneath the ads, thus making it impossible to read.  I`ve refreshed the page and even returned to it later on to find the same problem.

Here is a page that`s doing it to me.  I am on a Mac running FireFox 2.  This is only the third time I`ve seen this but it`s all been in the last few weeks.

Just letting you know.

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I`ve fixed the page you referred to.

The issue is when a very long url or any text string without a space in its midst is placed in a post. Since there is no logical line break, we end up with the formatting challenge you identified.

In this case, it was a long url. I simply made the words read here a hyperlink & that fixed the problem.

Ah... so you`re the culprit, Stan.  :)

Thanks Joel for figuring it out.  Now let`s see if I have something to add to that discussion!

Yes I am sorry, but if it`s the biggest mistake I make today; how great would that be?hehehe

Happens to me too, and I`m on a PC. I get the impression it occurs when either a logo is too large for the left colum, or someone copies and pastes formatted content into the posting-edit window. Just a guess, though.

Yeah, it`s any unbreakable block that makes it slide underneath the ads ... long URL, big picture, etc.
