PPC for short time and direct sale page, SEO for long time and everything in your website.

SEO is better then PPC, reason is that SEO traffic is may be less then PPC but conversion rate of traffic from SEO is better then traffic from PPC. Also traffic from PPC stops as you stop PPC compaign and PPC cost more then SEO.

depends on your objectives. traffic now vs later? with ppc when you stop spending you stop earning. with seo when you stop spending you start seeing results.

why not a balance of both?

Hello..

PPC is amazing for short term goals, but strategic SEO and link building is the ideal for long term online marketing efforts.

People tend to spend more money on PPC campaigns than SEO campaigns, the question is why, when we see that SEO is more beneficial in the long run. With PPC you are guaranteed immediate results, you pay money you see your page on top Google, however with SEO it takes time until your efforts bear fruit, and even then you aren't guaranteed to get what you want.

It all depends. What are your goals, budget & timeline?

SEO Pros & Cons:

  • SEO often cost less then PPC (if you are using an agency) as there is no ad spend
  • SEO is a long term strategy, don't expect rapid gains
  • SEO can be less volatile then PPC
  • SEO can provide more long term value

PPC Pros & Cons:

  • PPC can provide rapid short term gains
  • PPC is often much more expensive due to CPC costs
  • CPC costs continue to increase as more advertisers become involved
  • PPC can provide much more focused and targeted results

SEO takes time to bring results as the ranks of your website will grow gradually. It all depends upon the searches of the keywords you choose. PPC brings results instantly.

If you want instant results then go for PPC else SEO is the best way to bring organic traffic.

If you are targeting instant traffic at your website then PPC is the best option but if you have patience and wait for visitors after long wait then SEO is good. If you are expert in optimizing your website by using white hat SEO then I will suggest you to go the SEO because PPC campaign is costlier but SEO does not need more investment.
