Well, I've been working for almost 5 years but of course I know the advantages of starting on your own. I mean we are all good making other people's wallet fat. Why not do the same thing to ourselves right.

For the mean time I'm still in the process of saving some for the capital.

Sure there are advantages, but there are also advantages to not leaving your full time career immediately to jump straight into business.  Factors such as confidence, education, real world exposure, a strong foundation and most importantly a safety net all contribute to a successful business down the road.  I have written extensively about this topic on my blog below, speaking from my own experiences.
