Well, after 7 and a half years working in the cube farm for a rather large software company, I`m finally leaving the mother ship and coming back to Earth! 9/15/08 is my last day with the company and the beginning of my new venture as a homepreneur!!!

I just had to share the news. I`m so excited!

In response to both Erin and Craig...

The aliens have a plan to run the world, mwhuhahahahah! Actually, Mother Ship is a common reference to a software company up in the Pacific Northwest that has the same initials.

I completed my exit interview at 1:20 PM PST today and felt the burden lift from my shoulders as I turned in my cardkey.

I`ll miss some of my (former) co-workers, but am super excited to dive into the business 100%.

I just read an interview-article in, I think, Maximum Computer (?) about how the Mother Ship now accepts responsibility for a $6-billion (that`s with a "B") loss in bad decisions regarding Vista. Good thing you`re outta THAT company!
