This is GREAT!  We found Startup Nation by watching "The Big Idea" with Donny Deutsch!

Sorry for the double post but the software seems to have a few glitches as we lost most of our original Topic on a text edit.  Anyway...

We manufacture a copyrighted, trademarked and patent pending product called AxeGlove which is a Guitar Protection System for electric and bass guitars.

AxeGlove is a slip-on, cotton flannel based fabric cover for the body AND neck of the instrument.  It allows a musician, whether their instruments value is $300 or $30,000, to receive the same level of protection against "buckle rash", dings and dats, guitar and wall hanger finish damage for a minimal investment and can be used Live or in a Recording Studio environment.

We have one competitor at this time but their product covers only 25% of the instrument, part of the rear, and cannot be used on an instrument with a Nitrocellulose finish as its polymer based material mars the finish over a short period of time.  When fully deployed, the AxeGlove protects 85% of the instrument.

We have been in production since August `07 and debuted the product at the Orlando Guitar Show in January `08 to rave reviews and interest as well as receiving great reviews in Harmony Central and Gear Wire Magazines. The AxeGlove is currently available for Gibson and Fender Guitars in six colors.  We anticipate the release of models for Paul Reed Smith guitars and Fender Bass guitars in the next 60 days.  Currently, customers can order the AxeGlove from our website, www.AxeGlove.com and we also offer them through the eBay venue.  Three months ago we opened our sales to the international market to take advantage of the dollar decline and have experienced 35% sales growth as a result.  Currently, we have customers in the US, Europe and Australia.

We ARE profitable.

However, in order for us to move to the next level of product / marketing expansion we need investor funding of between $25,000 to $50,000.  This funding will allow us to drive down material costs, outsource more of the actual product manufacturing here in the US and greatly expand our advertising/marketing online and in print.

We have completed a business plan and are prepared to offer up a percentage of the company to an Angel investor should they or any of you be interested.  We can be contacted at sales@AxeGlove.com.
