Firstly, Thanks for the guidelines!

I am on online retail store that only does drop shipping.  I specialize in Organic, Eco-Friendly, All Natural and Fair Trade items.  My main focus is babies and children, but I do have items for the rest of the family to.  I have quite a large variety of products.

My company organicecobaby.com was created by an outside company.  I invested a lot of money into it.  The biggest cost was paying for the information on how to start up an online business from the ground up, they also assist in getting your vendors and loading the products etc.

My problem is that I have hit the ground running from the minute I started this, I have done everything they recommend and work away at it every day.  I have made two sales to date.  I can't seem to get people to interact with my site.  The two sales I did make, I gave the customers exceptional service and asked them to leave a comment in the guest book but no luck.  They emailed me what they thought.  I have been open since Aug 2011.  So only 6 months +-

Do you find my site inviting?  Does it look too busy?  What do you think I can do that will make it better for the customer?  What could I do to convert visits into sales?

I appreciate any advice that you may be offering.

Kind regards and Thank You.

Toni

Your site looks good. The SEO needs to be improve, however it is good that you are

on the second page in the Google search. for Eco Baby.  Since there are quite a few

Eco baby branding platforms out there , I recommend a second branding strategy.

around your elephant logo. I would create a second small linked website and go hard

core organic. Keep the products few and niche market. Use the unbleached clothing

you are selling now. Everything earth tone. Think Hippie and Whole foods business

model. Pure organic hard core is you product, Saving Elephants is your cause. join

the 1 percent movement. This site does not have to be just for babies and you can

logo t shirts etc. The sub-site can be new pages on your current site. just have the

domain URL forwarded to a secondary home page and have the 2 sites link to each

other home page, 1 for hard core, with a cause and 1 for mainstream. I left my

recommendations for the branding on your website to keep it private.

Thanks Gary.  This is great information.  So you mean I should open a new domain name with a whole new look?  I get the niche market and the branding sounds like a great idea.  I have not seen the comments on my webpage.  Could you send that again?

Thanks again.  Been a great help.
