What is the best order management & inventory management software for start-ups?

I am looking for something with a clean/modern interface that has all of the bells & whistles - Sales, Purchasing, Inventory & Reporting.

I really like Inflow but it lacks some key components such as a) Bill of Materials for final assembly b) Back-order Function. Also while Quickbooks POS seems to have a lot of potential -- not crazy about the user interface and the price tag. Is there something out there like Inflow but better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
