Hi I was hoping for a website critique on my website http://protectivepainting.com.  Ive spent alot of time on it and would really appreciate any opinions you may have for improvement.

     1. Does my site look professional to you?

     2. I did the header myself in Photoshop...should I get a professional one done?  (I have a limited budget.)

Thank you and if you need to know what its built with - I made it with this program called http://www.rapidweb.com.

The site looks great for your business. Simple, clean, lots of pictures, contact info, and videos. Do you have a logo for your business? If you do you might want to add it to your header. If not, try changing the font. I believe you just used Arial, which is a fairly boring font for a header.

Hope this helps

I think the site looks great! Awesome job on the header. Please take a lok at my site, it doesn't look very professional - I'm working on a new design. The online tool itself works great and is a perfect tool for small businesses to schedule there employees. Great job! John

Thanks for your comment.

I checked out your site as well - it is a good online tool you have.  Btw, I like the music on your yourtube video.

Site looks really good and is very clear and easy to navigate.  Some things that come to my mind are:

-You need some social media.  Twitter and Facebook and Google+ at the minimum.

-You should have an article, news or blog section.  At least 1 out of the 3 choices.

-Maybe add something cool like a painting color selector

Also if you look at the text at the very bottom right of the homepage the commercial text is clickable while the residential and services text is not.  Make them all clickable.

You also probably want to make sure you are on Google Places, Bing Local and Yelp among others.

All in all it looks awesome and I would hire your company in a second if I lived in Florida and needed painting :) Best of luck!

Thanks for you kind reply... yeah, our goal is to keep the site simple and professional looking.  I will definitely consider adding more clickable links on the bottom.

One of the biggest problems you see on the Internet is that some websites are slow loading. There are many sites out there that take more than 20 seconds to load -- a lifetime on the Internet. People just don't have time and patience to wait that long.!!
