Fellow Innovators,

Over the past months we have developed the interface tools to deliver science labs to any online school or learning enterprise with custom content to fit their need. Our challenge is to get a few startup clients to test our capability. Our business model is a no-charge for design, but only a nominal charge-for-use structure. The client risks nothing unless the final lab meets their need and they actually use it. We can customize a lab in 10 days or less generally speaking. We have a beta 1 chemistry lab demo on our website at the FRG-Institute.com . We would be happy to work with anyone in developing an initial client testing scenario.

Can I just say HOW COOL!!! I love science...I have always loved science. It is sooo nice to see science becoming online interactve capable. It really allows for soooo much more involvement from people who otherwise wouldn`t get involved because they can`t afford the time it takes to go to a school lab!

What a cool idea! Really! Congratulations...I see this becoming a big success!!!

I am glad you like the interactive route! If you think about it human brains are designed to recall stories and images, not text! Text was never in the biology of the human brain! The tradition of story telling and art goes back 100,000 years +, yet we insist on an educational system driven by primarily text based material! Today we have the opportunity to use 3D learning simulations that might employ compelling storylines to engage students in an organic way! I really think these innovations will need to start with the system outsiders, like special needs, home schoolers, and third world students. The system insiders already have staked out their turf and will defend it no matter how dysfunctional it may be!

I completely agree. I always found it rather ironic that when I was in school we went through a process in one class of learning what our learning styles were...am I a visual learning, an auditory learner, etc...and even AFTER learning that the majority of the class were visual and hands-on learners...they still insisted on doing the class instruction lecture style...and then wondered why the class had difficulty keeping their grades up. It is good to see there are some people out there willing to break that mold a bit and work towards educating in a manner that truly works with the minds actual natural abilities.
