Hi Everyone,

Since a new publicity or marketing campaign can be overwhelming, sometimes it`s easier to take baby steps.

And here at StartupNation, we can share our ideas and get the support we need to start and grow our businesses!

With this in mind, what is one thing you can do today to help promote your business? I`ll start with...

Today, I`ll add some new work samples to my website.

What are you going to do today?

Thanks,

Melanie

You are right about baby steps. I find it easy to put yourself on a routine. If you are going to promote your business, you should make it a daily task. I do not know about adding promotions to a website unless I have a steady flow of traffic. But, I know what you are going with this.

Speaking of marketing - does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be used for faxing rather than WinFax, it`s giving me lot`s of problems, when I try to put in a new number in the WinFax phone book it shuts down.. I am looking for a program that allows cover sheets, and logs, and a phone book.  In otherwords, WinFax, but not WinFax!

Hi Pat,

I don`t know of a good fax program. Hopefully, someone else will send in their suggestions.

What are your going to do today to promote your business?

I`m going to review my core business plan to see steps I can take to grow my business faster through marketing and promotion efforts.

I`m restarting my business after it has been dormant for a few years, so all I`m doing is promoting it!

I`ve written and passed out my business cards.  Since my business is for new business owners, and I`m kind of in that category myself, I`m attending local business workshops and networking events, trying to find customers.  I`ve been working on my website (it`s not finished yet) and will soon work on some brochures.  I need to do some follow-up today, too.
