A strange thought hit me this morning.

It seems to me that nothing wants to be itself these days.

- Your cell phone wants to be a computer (blackberry)

- Frozen pizza wants to be `delivery` (digiornio)

- Your printer is already a Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier

and the list can go on and on.

Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling we`ll one day end up with an Omni-Product?

When my cell phone contract comes to an end, I`m gonna find me a new
phone. I simply don`t need my phone/camera/web browser/email app/
music player/gaming and more device. I want a phone!

I did just that this past week:  I now have a GoPhone.  Previously, I had a fairly simple pay-as-you-use-it phone that reached the point where it had to be upgraded.  I decided No because (get this) I had no cell usage at home!!!  I chose a carrier that had put a tower up just down my road and bought the very simple phone for 19.95 (plus tax) and got the first $10.00 free on activation.  My daughters live with their phones on constantly, mine`s just for my needs.  My computer is complicated enough as it is.  Oh wait - I have 3 of them now.

Yup, plain Jane phone is fine by me.
