Seth-

Even though bugs creep me out completely (I`m friends with BugStop!), you have a fabulous site.  I love your graphics!

One thing that tends to irritate me when I look at sites, are mispellings...not a big deal, really, when it comes to the overall site - but it immediately tells me someone`s not being too careful or soliciting enough advice/opinion...your site pages have oodles of misspellings and grammar errors (especially the killer misuse of the apostrophe....ugh).

You`ve received lots of other good advice - I`d only add to keep your pages no more than 2 page lengths if possible, i.e. no endless scrolling down to see what`s next....just make your site `deeper` (vs. `wider`), letting users click for more detailed information - search engine spiders like this very much.

I also applaud you for your own site maintenance - I too do this and have been through the learning curve, and always benefit from comments people have on my sites and blogs...(there`s a new list on www.familycontentnetworks.com) - if you look through my sites, you`ll see I tend to reuse and copy features/templates from one to the next, and as one improves, so do all of them.

Ok I have implemented some of the ideas already.  I thank you for all the great ideas that have come out.  I will continue to update my site with the great ideas coming from here.  Keep sending me ideas!  Thanks!

Hi FarmerScotty,

I think your website looks very honest.  And since I live in Ozark, if I didn`t already have a wood stove, I would definitely be looking into an outside wood heater!

I believe the gentleman that commented below was on to something, though, about the color scheme.  White backgrounds are classic and formal looking.  It also makes things easier to read.  You may want to make your font a little clearer as well.  Also, you can never go wrong with perfect grammar.  If you know someone that can proof read, ask them to look over your text.

Keep up the good work, and since I`m in Home Construction, I`ll keep you in mind for clients that are wanting to heat with wood.
