I do have an actual tech question for you.  One of my other gigs, when I`m not slaving over Pet Set is at b5 media...I write the blogfabulous.com blog.

I`ve noticed that traffic on the Pet Set site has picked up since I started working on the blog.  This is going to sound dumb....because I sometimes will write an article which includes reference to the Pet Set...I will add those words to the tags at the end of that particular blog....is there a correlation to that and the pick up in traffic?

Sure those tags are indexed and the reference to the site is indexed as well. Tags in blogs are a huge way for people to generate traffic on there site and I`m sure as other blogs point to your blog more traffic gets pushed to your site.

It also helps to have reputable sites linking to your pet set site, since this is one of the many factors google and other engines are using to rank you.

So my advice is to keep mentioning your site in meaningful ways (and not blatant self promotion) as this will only lead to great things.

I`ve gotten interesting leads from this site as well.
