I did not watch it but, here`s a transcript : http://www.bnonews.com/news/185.html

I`m disappointed Obama did not take responsibility for allowing the AIG and other bonuses.
After all according the Senator Dodd, the Treasury Dept told him to put language in the bill to allow such bonuses. Then everyone (Obama and Congress) rushed the bill through - apparently not reading it.

Obama made fun of the special olympics people - then issued a statement saying he was making fun of his own bowling ability.  Yeah, right.  Obama will not take responsibility for anything.  He was SHOCKED, SHOCKED I say, about the bonuses.  Please.  Dude is a joke.

Obama and Dodd won`t take responsibility and own up to knowing ahead of time about the contractual bonuses. The reason being that AIG spent more than half a million dollars in political contributions to get Obama and Dodd elected.

Oh....and keep in mind that a whole lot of congressmen and congresswomen own stock in AIG. John Kerry`s AIG investment is (or was) currently valued at about $2-million. And he`s only one of many investors from up there on The Hill.

I think it`s much more important that President Obama is hangin` out on Leno, maybe going out for a few beers, playing some darts or bowling, and being "one of the guys." We`re all tired of the gloom-and-doom, y`know? We should have some fun, not be so depressed.

Maybe we`ll see Chris Dodd on "The Daily Show" soon? He can talk about how his management of Fannie Mae was sort of like the Special Olympics event on fiscal responsibility.

But one thing for sure: It`s a good thing we all hate Sarah Palin! Can you imagine how embarrassing it would`ve been if she`d moved into the Vice Presidential residence? What with her son Trig, and all. Can`t have that, can we? She`d probably be out there making fun of ordinary people.

I guess it`s a good thing Congress rushed to pass the Bill .... imagine if they had actually read the damn thing before voting .... why, they`d have to fess up and be ... gulp ... responsible for what it actually says ....

I only saw bits and pieces of the Leno thing .... I am by far not an Obama fan .... but I think I`d cut some slack on this one, only because I think all of us have tried to do the "off the cuff throw out some humor" bit when we`re around funny people, trying to fit in and match wits, and fallen flat on our face because we simply said the wrong thing without thinking before saying .... I agree that it was in bad taste, but I don`t think it was intentionally in bad taste ....

Not intentionally in bad taste.....  But a shame, that our President was on Leno trying to be comical when there are so many problems in our world. Do you agree?

The problem is Obama has no skill in "off the cuff" anything. Without his teleprompter and speech-writers, he`s an empty Pinocchio shell.

Those bonuses while unpopular were necassary. I wish one of these guys would get up and say that.

They obviously realized that they were necassary when they allowed them, now because everyone is upset it`s finger pointing and complete lack of responsibility. Big Suprise.
