Mc Cains RECORD! I wonder if that`s why he brings up that Obama doesn`t have a record?

I thought that in order to be the president you can`t have a criminal record... I wonder if bush has one? We all know about MCCain Please check out the video and post your comments...

McCain was completely exonerated as was John Glenn.  I suggest you look into history a bit more.  And in case you don`t know who John Glenn was - he was an astronaut.  You can find that in history, too.

VWWEBS,
Very weak come back. it didn`t tell me much... I think the only thing that stood out was that his pastor "Damned America" for the 9/11 attack...

Roland, I wouldn`t Damn American because America was not at fault.
I damn the Bush Administration for failing to protect  America. There is plenty of documentation that the FBI, CIA, and everyone knew about the terrorists...

They knew where they were and who they were... But they ignored it. I don`t think that McCain did a good job at attacking Obama...

See there is a big difference between being friends with someone that did something wrong [that doesn`t make you a bad person, its circumstance]....
Now, accepting money from someone that is doing wrong, and you benefiting from it is WRONG! and he is as guilty as the person that stole the money...

Let the politicians attack each other.  Just vote for who you want, who you believe in.
Rich, you wanted  to add some meat to the discussion of our choices. You have definitely gotten it!

Here are some people trying to change what they feel needs to be changed.

If we all put our energy behind the greater good and actually do something about it, especially in large numbers...so many things could be better. Let`s put a little hustle behind our words and work to organize our own beliefs into actions. The old saying "You get what you put out" is true here. If we only put out "talk" then that is all we get back.. if you act, then others are forced to act, especially when folk`s act together. If you don`t like something or see folk`s doing things that ae not right, then simply make a plan to change it.

Hi Janie, It is the Library of Congress. The greater good is everything in these 6 pages of thread that everyone is speaking on that needs to change. To one it may be good to do this or to another it may not.. it is whatever a person believes is right..but they must act in  order to make their belief into a difference. Now there are just simple rules of doing the right things and being a  decent human being that many of the folk`s posting here are accusing candidates of not following. In that case.. what do we do about it? Do we cry and complain or do we make certain that it can not happen or make it very dificult to be allowed to happen? My point from the start of this entire post is simple. If you don`t like something...do Something to change it or simply in my opinion..you are wasting time and just creating more noise.

I agree Erin,.......... Do something!

The "noise" just gets very loud and irritating, from the different parties. It just gets so bitter.

All I can say is,.. I hope we can all  learn more, so we can  make an educated choice in what we believe is best for us! And most of all, I hope  what  we hear, and believe, is true.

VWWEBS,
Very weak come back. it didn`t tell me much...

Well, I wasn`t really trying to formulate a "come back".

My point is, both candidates have a history or baggage or positions or actions that we may or may not like. Unfortunately, the campaign process generates a whole bunch of rhetoric, facts are spun to persuade or scare voters, and the focus on real solutions is lost.

Candidates say what they think we need to hear in order for us to vote for them, they do not tell the truth. Truth and politics only exist by coincidence. And we can not turn to the media for the truth either.

But we do need to vote! In reality a President does not change the country unless he/she has a mandate from the voters (landslide election). Maybe even more important is your vote on who will represent you in local and State government and Congress.

Vote early and often!
