No, your goal right now is to a) continue to do what you`re doing, even though you`ve said it isn`t optimal, and b) continue to follow some set of rules yet to be determined.

I think we`re misunderstanding each other at this point, so I`m not sure what to say ...

So I will just add, thanks for the input! It was nice of all of you to give this a fresh set of eyes. We`re going to be changing up some things to lead up to my big networking event on Wednesday.

That stock photography stuff is cracking me up.

But if you notice on this site, the text is not included in the graphic, which makes the design a lot better.

They did forget an alt tag though.

Nikole,

Just wanted to chime in with my thoughts.  I hadn`t been following all the discussion, so I will give you my "first look" impression of your site...

The is something I don`t like about your navigation links.  i can`t put my finger on it though.  Myabe it`s the font or the size.  You have a nice space for the main navgation, but the links seen underwhelming.

I really like the text header in the content area.  It is the right sixe, stands out, and has good meaning.  I wish it was header text and not an image, but I understand why some chose to use smoother graphical text.

I would change the font and size of the promote, stramline, and creat text.  It is smaller than the acompanying text, and a different font all together.  Just doesn`t look right to me.

The "Why" section is good, but I would have it in your main menu.  Because it is a graphic, and your menu is text, visitors might not pick on the fact that it is a link.  Same goes for your sidebar portfolio link on your interior pages.

One thing I think you can do is put a featured case study on your web & print, marketing, sales support, etc. pages.  The are kinds plain with just text, and may not draw a visitors interest for long.

How did your event go?

I must admit, the changes you`ve made to your site have been impressive in comparison to what you started out with...I still think you lack a call to action...at least on the web/print pages as well as the marketing pages.

Some people may not read all the way down on your homepage and see the `soft` call to action there...upon arriving to your site, they may immediately decide to go to your marketing page and there is no call to action there.

You don`t `have` to have one...but it doesn`t hurt...if anything, it`ll help. A free report / white paper perhaps? Capture their names and email addresses so you can automate the `marketing process`? Prove to them you are indeed the expert by providing additional information...

Just my .02 measley cents

Great job with the changes though, I`m impressed.

Good Grief! Talk about a change! I swung through this thread to see what`s changed, then visited the site again. As stonesledge said...night and day!

Okay..my own bugaboo is small text, and I realize it`s not a priority for many folks these days, but I`m putting my two cents in on it anyway. I`d prefer a bit larger on the secondary pages. Home page is fine, though.

The other thing is to make your logo link back to the home page. I looked all over when I visited the tabs, and it took me a second to find the "Home" up there at the top. I guess I expected it as the first tab to the left, along the row of tabs. Barring that, I clicked the logo...and that wasn`t active.

Way better site, though, and gets me thinking this is a pro company with a lot of actual experience. :-)

You`ve received a lot of great replies. I`ll be asking for advice soon! My concern is the line referring to large corporation budget. It still sounds to me like you might still be over priced. Even a small corporation budget would be out of my price range. Just a thought.

First I want to say I like the content you have on the site. It is well organized and access to more information is easy to find. You did a great job in this area.

That being said I was not impressed with the look and feel of the site. The different shades of gray was not very pleasing and it gives me a dreary rainy day type feel.

I would look at other templates and find something else that would work better. good luck. You received a lot of feedback so I am sure it has helped you get a better feel for what you need to do.

Regards,

John
