I 30+ Designer with products, patent, prototype, documentation, etc. and ready to fabricate, Now what??? Is there any investors looking to help rebuild the American Manufacturing Industry, or create new employment? I have looked for years, posting, web site, message boards, etc. etc. etc. I have not been picky, funding, partnership, etc. and it is as dry as a desert. I have good products with good profits with future plans and products, Location is open, easy start with min. effort, etc. But there is nobody interested unless it is a fast buck with clean hands. I hear of all the help that is really not provided, funding that does not exist, support that sounds good but only a passifier so the system looks like they are helping. But in the long run, there is NO MONEY, and no support from our government. We must help eachother, but we are already owned by the banks. What directions can one take when your wheels keeep spinning in the same spot?

Does anybody want to start a manufacturing company? Or is it all service, education, alternative energy, medical, etc.?

I know what you mean.  In 2009 I started my own manufacturing business.  No one would help with funding.  Banks laughed, the SBA was no help.  However, the economy was so bad that equipment was cheap, space was cheap, work was cheap.  We are now a NEW manufacturing company right here in the US.

Some things I learned - check with you local universities - many have free programs to help local businesses get started and even find funding through Government loans and grants.  Wish I would have found this out before I started.

We are now a thriving plastic injection molding company - you can check out more about us and what we do here www.premierplasticmolding.com

I hear your frustration and I understand.  The economy is very tough right now.  Investors are risk adverse in this climite meaning they don't want to take on any uneccessary risks.   If you had some solid IP (intellectual property) that may lower the risk for them a little bit and attract some funding.

I have a free provisional patent template on my website which you can use to get started and file your own patent application in the USPTO.  Let me know if you need help.
