With so many resources and service providers, where do you start?  The Entrepreneur` Connection is going to help, especially with a spotlight on StartupNation.  What do you need to know to get started and grow your business?  Respond to this and we can get this ball roling.  Get more information on the event at www.mynewbusiness.org

Rich,

I`ll be attending the  Entrepreneur` Connection in Green Bay on Thursday and look forward to seeing you. I`d like to solicit some advice from you prior to the conference. I`m also new to StartupNation and in the throws of expanding my travel business.  Most of my business is with ecotourism- natural and cultural history tours - with groups.  I customize group tours then lead the trips. I`ve been around the States with tours and 2 trips to Kenya.  I love to travel.  I`ve done this on a limited scale - only 2-3 trips per year, but now I`m completely on my own (yikes) with no outside income to support me.  Now I need to have between 8-12 trips per year.  Exciting and scary.  My client demographics are; 50 - 85 year olds, have disposable income and time, like or love nature and enjoy travel with small groups.  I wrote and revised a business plan (through a class with the Small Business Center in Green Bay who were excellent).  My question, actually questions, is with attracting new clients and client groups.  I hear a lot about internet marketing and would like to (or need to) develop a strategy of internet based marketing.  Can you direct me to a source, plan, package or a manual/course thats proven itself ?  Is there a good nuts and bolts source out there?  I know there`s a lot out there on the internet, but that seems to be the problem sometimes.  I have several hundred email addresses and know of sources to buy list etc.  Any suggestions on other marketing for small group travel would also be helpful.

Thank you and I`ll see you Thursday.

paul,

my first question is whether you`ve used the information right here at the site.

for example, sounds like you would benefit bigtime from our 5 Steps to Marketing Your Website. we`re also coming out with step-by-step advice on email marketing in the near future that will be very helpful to you.

have you bought key words?

Rich,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion on your "5 Steps..", I`m still exploring your site and I wasn`t aware of this offering and am now reviewing its many wonderful components.  I was familiar with the "11 Steps to Create a Successful Website" and I am actually using it to develop my web page.

I`ve not bought any key words yet and to be honest with you, I`m not sure as to what this represents, but will check it out.

I look forward to the email marketing step by step.
