I own a business named B.T.I. Comics LLC. B.T.I. Comics is a custom design and production company. We are a commercial and internet base company that offers our services worldwide. This is my first business, but I have worked in this type of business for 19 years. The biggest challenge  I face now is raising funds for expansion.
I have a great love for helping other businesses grow and seeing the impact on the community when it is successful. But having that is not enough to drive me. I have found that I have really had to go outside my “little bubble” to keep hope alive with this business.   I have searched for many different investors around  the world, used my funds to do so and have not received what I seek. I feel with every negative there is an equal amount of  positive and I just have to found it.  I would be very thankful for any new advice or for an investor to look over my business and business plan. I am very much looking to improve myself and my business if needed.

Highlights of business…
B.T.I. Comics is at the forefront of this new generation of offering creative services and has established a strong market position in Virginia.  Funding is being sought to more fully develop domestic opportunities and to expand the Company’s reach internationally through planned partnerships such as Creative Unification In Virginia.

Creative Unification in Virginia

“When creative minds come together a industry is born”
Creative Unification In Virginia is intended for creative minds in Virginia who want change. The economy is fluctuating and we are now in a recession. In turn, B.T.I. Comics’ goals for the future involves the growth of our economy. Owning a company structured the same as Hollywood is planned for B.T.I. Comics. We have gather many creative partners and will placed them in our studio building (B.T.I. Comics Studios)

I haven`t read your plan, but based upon the above information- the amounts of capital you seek seems like a lot for your type of business.

If you`ve engaged in real communication with a number of viable investors without success - it may be because you are not completely Capital Ready.

Send me a PM or contact me directly if you want to discuss the specifics of your situation.

When I came across your post, I noticed a couple of things.

First of all your company’s name B.T.I Comics somewhat implies that you are a publisher of comic books, however, after reviewing your website I learned that you also provide design and marketing services.

The idea behind “Creative Unification in Virginia” is also not clear. What’s the purpose? If it’s a group, union, or alliance, why would anyone like to join it?

Leading me to your offering for $2.75 million, which is obviously broken down into two projects; “BTI Comics Expansion” and “Creative Unification in Virginia”.

Again, at this point I’m not surprised that your offering failed to get the attention of potential investors. Besides a lot of bubble talk, there’s not a single defining factor that would make me want to learn more about your company or unification project.

This is where you’ll need to start.

In addition, Robert is right. It looks like you intend to raise a lot of money with no clear proposition to investors in place. You have to fix that before even thinking about going in front of anyone.

I hope this helps.

Mark
