I`m with you Nikole.

I got so frustrated with the negativity that I gave myself persmission (about a year ago) to not read or watch "the news." (My degree is in International Relations so this was like a smoker quitting cigarettes!) I have found that my stress level has dropped dramatically, I find out what I really need to anyway and by the way - I`m a great conversationalist - about things that I choose to talk about, not about things someone else tells me are important.

I still subscribe to the local daily newspaper for business news - primarily because their website is so lame.  My weekly treat to myself is the Sunday New York Times because it`s a real newspaper.

I`ve never been a radio listener - to me it`s just unnecessary noise.

I love the internet, but for some reason cannot stand reading articles online. Love touching the newspaper and reading it "the old fashioned way" ...

I am with you.
I read the papers and journals while watching sports on television or out by the pool with a coffee in the morning or a martini in the afternoon.
