Hi MiteyMite,
I checked out your site.Tongue
Awesome bikes!
Is that your design?
I have ridden the 2 seater types in VA Beach and San Diego.
Lots of fun.
I see that you sell on ebay. Is there 1 tip about manager pro that you could lay on me? I am still learning all the different tools ebay has, gets overwhelming at times.
Thanks in advance,Wink

thanks, Troy.

Here`s my 1 tip about Selling Mgr Pro......don`t do Ebay without it!

As Hersh mentioned...Selling Manager Pro has smart efficiency tools and traffic reporting tools.. these are an absolute must.  It`s kinda like a dashboard.  Again, I don`t know about Ebay`s store format but for their auction formats this tool really comes in handy. And it is very intuitive and easy to use so the learning curve isn`t bad at all.

Selling Mgr Pro can help you put your back office on autopilot to a certain extent.  Sales will automatically be assigned an invoice # and all contacts made with the customer can be handled and recorded through that #.  You can also set preferences that allow automated email response to the customer upon invoicing and after a sale, after payment is made and after the item is shipped.  Feedback is handled through this system as well.

Pair it up with Turbo Lister (they`re on version 2 now) which will allow you to bulk list, build listings offline and upload all at once or on schedule.  I believe the Turbo Lister tool is provided at no cost.

Hersh gave an awesome tip regarding the `About Me` page.  Okay, I confess.... I had never paid much attention to that page.  I always thought our feedback speaks volumes .  But don`t pass up using this tool as well..... especially if you can add your site URL there.  Ebay doesn`t allow that anywhere else.

Hi MiteyMite,
I added my URL to my store on about me page under fav links and at the end of my intro description. Are those good places to add URL? Do the search engines pick up on that? Smile

Hersh may be able to answer this better than I can.

I do know you should concentrate on using your keywords in the titles of headings and the category titles for search optimization. Using your keywords in the promotions areas should help as well.

Hi sportsguy,

Okay adding URL in About me page is not primarily for search engines, though it`ll definitely give your URL a backlink. Adding URL is for directing traffic from your Ebay listings to your site. And ya add the URL in fav link, and in the description as HTML is allowed there.

Now, did i emphasise the importance of encouraging your visitors to visit your About Me page! Try whatever you can, give offers, freebies from your website(and About Me page is gateway to your site).

And please please please track how many visitors you are getting from your About Me page. Marketing without tracking is like throwing your time and money in a blackhole.
