Hello,
I am hoping that my first request is not offensive.:^)
I have a online store. O K, an ebay store!
I have do have a www.e-extremesportsupply.com website, but it is not actually working, I just own it.
I do have a thriving store,( not as much as I would like) on ebay.
I was hoping there would be someone here familiar with ebays methods and or just some good insight to marketing my products, ie.title, description.
If you get a chance, please read my profile.
Thank you everyone,
T.

Hello,

I don`t sell much on e-bay at all... but I am a bit obsessed with shopping at a certain E-bay store (Ibaze). I know I used to shop there for new clothes about once a month.

Part of how I found them was searching for very cheap corsets, and an auction with a low intro price attracted me to their store. I noticed your store does not have any auctions at all, only Buy-it nows. Perhaps lower priced intro auctions would help you show up more in searches.

I am not in your target market though so I would take my considerations with a grain of salt.

With your website, setting up the domain to forward to your E-bay store couldn`t hurt, and then you could use a .com URL on your business cards/promo cards.

Hey Troy:

checked out your ebay store......  your descriptions and titles seem just fine to me.  Very complete. I`ve been an Ebay seller since 1998 and a past powerseller but I conduct only auctions and have never had a need for an Ebay store.  Carrie may be right.  You may be able to increase sales if you add some auction activity as opposed to just `buy it now` offerings.

Hi Mate,
I dn`t think if you have an Ebay shop already you`d need to read a `how-to..` guide on starting. But hope you have read it already. Now I worked as an Ebay consultant for an year, setting up and reaching powerseller status as fast as we could. Some tips:-
  1. Just seen your ABOUT ME page.DO use your web URL in your About Me page.Ebay allows that. And desing it like a web page with a similar theme as your auction listings. Also, you have to encourage your visitors to visit your About Me page. And make the URL there very very visible. You`ll be surprised to see the traffic from there.
  2. If you dn`t use Selling Manager Pro already please subscribe asap. You get smart efficiency tools and Traffic Reporting tools. I can`t stress the value of these tools.
  3. Use Promotion Boxes given in Ebay shops. You can use them to announce Sale, Discounts, Postage Offers and they look very professional.
  4. I saw your shop front page and you need to work on your categories. BAGS, FINS, HOODS etc do not have any search engine value. Remember category names and all title fields should be optimised for search engines. All the text in your Header area comes in this category as well. So consult some SEO friend or just ask around here in forum and tweak the wording. You`d be surprised to see result within a few weeks.
  5. Okay, last but not the least: Improve your auction theme. Its very amateurish. You are doing most things right but a bad design defeats your Pro image.
For more advice you are welcome to gimme a shout anytime.

You`re welcome for the reply to your `post`, T.  Sure......buddy away!  Also, I agree that selling manager pro is the way to go.  I wouldn`t do Ebay without it.
