Here is a wonderful success story.  Two bellman invented a new door stop.  They’ve already sold thousands of the units to Hotels locally and are getting ready to go national.  The URL is to their web site.

Fascinating! (Here`s a hyperlink.)

I`m continually amazed at the inventiveness of people, and human beans in general. Half the time, you see a new invention and have a "Doh!" moment, wondering, "Why didn`t I think of that?"

My other latest favorite is that little engine that pushes a long train of shopping carts in from the parking lot. They use it at Wal-Mart. And the tall, skinny tube for cigarette butts....see it everywhere.

It just goes to show that no matter how often anyone says that everything`s now been invented, they`re completely wrong. There`s ALWAYS something waiting around the corner for someone with imagination! :-D

And!...it doesn`t always have to be super-complicated, highly technical, requiring leading edge science.

That`s actually pretty smooth!

The one thing I couldn`t find was a picture of it in the actual door. Maybe have a quick video of someone using it, like an actual hotel person, to show how fast it is?
