Hello folks

I just started blogging, and was wondering if you guys can give me advice about my blog. Here is the link:

Let me know what you guys think, and tell me what else I should do to it in order to make it better and drive traffic.

Thanks

Here are a few strategies I use...

I post every blurb I write on Digg.com - the more exciting your writing style combined with the topic of interest, the easier it is to get traffic.  Tough to master, but will get you started.

Also post on Technorati.com - people can find your blog on a search through keywords.

Stumble your blog.  Download the stumbleupon.com toolbar add-on and become an active user.  The more useful your writing is, the easier it will get thumbs up and spread virally.

Good Luck.

1) Don`t use blogspot. See how many people regretted doing that here.

2) Don`t paste someone else`s post on to your blog. ("Top 4 SEO Site Design Mistakes") You link to them, trackback to them, and add your own comments to it.

3) Use Feedburner to allow readers to subscribe to your RSS feed. Also use it to ping 10 listing services every time you post.

4) Add chicklets to your site so people can subscribe in many ways.

5) Add FeedFlare from Feedburner so people can Digg, Reddit, e-mail, share, whatever your posts.

Couldn`t see the title, white on gray, and hate the red-and-green flashing FREE! Hit counters ad.

In fact, it was so distracting, I blew off the site and didn`t read anything. So no additional comments.

That`s a nice theme. Just put all your old posts in there and you`re golden!

There are many ideas over at Feedburner for publicizing your blog, like how to make your autodetect feed go to WordPress.

Definitely will. Though I am having trouble figuring out how to install some of the plugins, plus making my blog look like my blogger one with the ads etc.

Hopefully things will be a lot easier in the coming days. What plug-ins in your opinion are useful especially for SE`s?
