Do you need a new website?  Have you ever wondered what it would cost to outsource your fulfillment?  Would it be nice to stop cold calling and just show up to meetings with prospective customers?  Maybe it’s time to find new insurance?

Check out our new service, Resource Nation, which helps you save time and money finding qualified service providers.  We pre-screen vendors for you, we match them to your needs, and we even give you a Smart Guide to help walk you through the process.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: You click on a business service and fill out a brief form to tell us what you need.

Step 2: You receive a Smart Guide that includes:

  • Smart questions to ask service providers
  • 10 things you should know when choosing a service provider

Step 3: You are matched with 3-5 pre-screened service providers who provide price quotes and compete for your business!

Find qualified service providers in over 80 categories including search engine optimization, telemarketing, accounting, payroll, and much more.

If you’ve used the service, remember to send us feedback on the Smart Guides!

Hi Joel
Very Interesting . . . I will be needing this, but as usual, I  have questions.

1 How is the pre-screening process done? What are vendors screened for?

2. How are businesses  matched?  By computer, or is this done by a person?

3. Is the Smart Guide the same for all categories, or does it change with the type of vendor we are seeking?
Thanks  jeff

Hi Jeff,

My name is Ryan and I help manage the Vendor Flow service.  Here are some answers to your questions.

1. During the pre-screening process we search a number of sources to evaluate a company`s aptitude including credit checks, checking the Better Business Bureau and searching for public reviews that are posted about a company.  Most importantly, once a vendor is matched to entrepreneurs, we start gathering feedback on their follow up and service quality.

2. Business are matched by a combination of computer and person.  Our computer narrows vendors down based on filters like the type of service and the geographic location.  An actual person, then looks at the details of an entrepreneur`s request, and tries to choose the most capable companies to respond.

3. The Smart Guides change by general category.  E.g. Web design and web hosting would receive the same Smart Guide, but fulfillment services would be different.

I hope this helps,

Ryan

All,

My company (Best Rank, Inc.) is a current vendor on the Vendor Flow network.  We`ve been very impressed with the efficiency of the Vendor Flow system.  We receive leads via e-mail literally minutes after the entrepreneur has submitted his request. We then follow up w/ the prospective client as soon as we can to initiate discussion regarding their specific needs.  The entrepreneurs/clients that we contact are always surprised at how fast they receive a response.

I`m an entrepreneur, and I like the idea of dealing with like minded individuals through the StartUpNation and the Vendor Flow network.   If you have any questions regarding this service, then please feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

I agree with you!

Business is not only business. We should think more about it before we start it.
