Steve, even if you were promoting (I am not suggesting you were) your product... Who cares! Isn`t that what you (a business owner) is supposed to do? I don`t know about other people and thier biz, but I give product away all the time with no expectation of return. I just want people (sometimes in important positions, sometimes not) to see, touch, smell, hear and taste what I have... Although, I don`t expect people to lick my vases. You can just look and touch. I have even attended tradeshows and provided give-a-way gifts (sometimes costing as much as $40 retail. It`s a total loss to me (financially), but the joy of the person receiving is energizing.

So Steve... Keep givin` your product out... by the way... I could pass along my address for your next charitable donation location.

All in all Steve, it sounds like everyone loves them. What a GREAT feeling, huh!

Truth to tell... I`m surprised, living so close to StartupNation HQ, that I`ve been able to resist this long finding a reason to drop in.

If it were not for StartupNation, we probably would not have started our business. You can`t listen to two years of radio show archives, several shows each day, for months without having it affect your thinking; which is exactly what I wanted to have happen.

After starting the business, to be told that my job is being moved to Eastern Europe by year end, (most of our group has already left Michigan to find work) knowing that our future is in our hands, not some employer`s or politician`s, let`s just say I have a lot to be thankful for.

As we were leaving Carol commented, "they sure seem to be a happy bunch." I can`t wait till everyone (SUN Team, community members, family, etc.) has a chance to meet at the proposed conference next summer.

I hear you Steve...Startup Nation is one of my biggest motivators.  It`s a nice feeling to know that there are others out there experiencing some of the same challenges as we build our businesses.  The Startup Nation team are an amazing bunch!  They`ve done us all such a great thing by building this community so that we all have a medium to communicate and help eah other!
