Hi everyone, I have completey redone the site. It doesn`t resemble the old one, one bit. So, I don`t know if you all will know what to compare this new one to.

All I can ask is for feedback again. I am looking to find out

-if within 10 seconds you can tell what we do.
-if the nav system is straight forward enough
-overall does the site install a sense that we are professionals at what we do.
-and of course any other comment.

Since I am doing the site myself, (which I HATE, but can`t afford to hire who I want) I am very uncomfortable with the copy on the site. So, thanks for the detailed feedback.

Site is still   www.shockwavesign.com

P.S.  nhgnikole I know you hate coming soon pages, and would rather just nor include them so please note that is doely noted already

jkd,
I am not a website guy, but I do use a ton of websites, so from a customers view. your photo gallery when I roll over the thumbnails I also have to click then wait, don`t know why usually I just roll over thumbnails and they appear. also as a guy that purchases B2B from time to time you have a page artwork specifications, it seems to me a bit "hardline" like if I don`t have what YOU need I can`t hire YOU. one last thing you have a hi-lited "file upload tab" no explaination just a tab, on the main menu which wants to upload stuff from my computer, what kind of stuff is it looking for?

Can`t see the site. So that you get an idea of what I see here is a screen capture (large file 440kb, you may need to reload the page to see it) the top part is what it looks like when I land on it, since the print is too small for me to read I enlarge the print but doing that keeps the site the same size crunches everything on top of everything else. On the bottom part what I see after enlarging the print. The site should grow as well, how that is done I have no clue.

Site layout is clean and easy to follow. You might think about making this bigger than the surrounging text, it doesn`t stand out like it could:

Welcome to Shockwave Grafix

You premiere source for large format graphics!

The photo gallery is cool. Everything looks good in both Explorer and Firefox. If I were you I would change the domain name to match your company name exactly for consistent branding.
