Much better, in my opinion...! :-) Now let`s talk about some color. I
went out and looked under "home fitness," and "install home fitness,"
along with some other possible queries for similar business. What I
found was ALL of them are so busy it`s almost impossible to understand
the site, much less the message.
I still think the questions/articles down along the left side add to
the confusion, not to the clarity. But I definitly (very much so!) like
the extended monitor width. That helps reduce some of the clutter.
I`d suggest now, having a very light background color to help ease the
eyes with all that text on white. For example Hex #F2F8F5, or something
very very pale that compliments the green text, but dims down (just a
touch) the starkness of the white.
If you go slightly darker (#EFFBEB), you could then go with plain black
for you content, and a nice hunter green for your headlines (for visual
compliments). Then you`d have some room to make your images a bit
larger. Keep either the width or height of all the images the same,
depending if they`re laid out horizontal or vertical.
I`m NOT a Web designer or graphics layout artist. I`m making these
suggestions based on old and tired eyes, which get a bit achey with
pure white backgrounds on a busy site.
The better solution would be to reduce the "clutter" by half, and
really focus the eye on a compelling message: "We can make your life
fabulous because we offer this solution to your major problem."
(Replace "this" and "problem" with actual content.)
But overall, this is a whole lot better than the previous iteration, in my own opinion. :-)
