Hi everyone,

My new website, Preneuraholics.com just launched yesterday, 12/30/09.

Whenever anyone asks me what it's about I freeze, then stumble through an explanation. It's so unusual that I have trouble explaining it verbally. Here is my "written" description (not to be confused with a pitch for funding for myself):

Preneuraholics.com is a new funding source created to bridge the gap for entrepreneurs that have not been able to secure funding through traditional sources such as loans, venture capital, angels or grants. It is an innovative concept that uses peer to peer GIVING, no loans.

Please see the site below in the signature.

Thoughts? Thank you.

Interesting.

I actually had an idea about starting a site like this just today while researching finance options for startups.

Kudos for making it happen. I see your site is very new. Has there been any sucess thus far?

Good luck with your new website!!

If you can find people willing to donate money to struggling entrepreneurs, then I think you will have a real business.  The $40 fee seems a little steep since there is no guarantee that one will receive any money.  Perhaps, it is free to post, and then you pay the $40 if you receive funding.  Just a thought to help you get more people posting initially.
