Hey I just wanted to let everyone know about a new service that Microsoft is offering for FREE!  Go to www.officelive.com and sign up for the free account. They will give you a free domain name and website. Keep in mind that free stuff isn`t always top of the line, but for a new start up looking to get some type of online presence, why turn it down. I already have a corporate site, however I did utilize this FREE service to register a domain name for one of  my company`s services.
Check it out www.execupool.com

This will at least give you an idea of what you can do with what they are offering. If you already have a site, why not create another one? If nothing else it will give you another place to catch traffic and push it to your main site. If anyone has any questions about this program let me know. I think that it is pretty simple and self explanitory though! So check it out and let me know what you think.

Yes, it`s actually pretty good if you don`t have a website and don`t have a budget.  I was able to put together something decent, get a domain name, email accounts etc.  It is limited in the amount you can do with it but I was able to put up an 7 page site.  I still plan on having my website professionally designed, but it was nice to see what I can do on my own for no cost.  If you don`t have a website you`d be crazy not to take advantage of this, even just to register a domain name and throw your company info and contact info out there.

I looked into this and did a whois query on execupool.com and it came up as registered to me. Then I tried to transfer it to my business hosting account (www.webmasters.com) it seemed to work. I then changed it back because my business hosting allows me to have up to 20 domains on my account, however, it only allows URL redirecting or forwarding. That is just irritating to me. So it seems to me, if nothing else, Microsoft has given people a CHEAP way to register domains. Of course this is all for a limited time, but hey take advantage of it while you can!
