it`s probably worth a few bucks to discuss the specifics of the patent prospects with your lawyer.  There are lawyers that claim to offer "free" initial consultations- but very few in the patent area.  You can probably find one that would discuss this with you for a small flat fee.

After applying for the show online i got an email back from one of the casting directors, and she asked me to respond with "i confirm and accept".  That was almost two weeks ago.  Does that mean ive been selected or does everyone get that email?

everyone gets that ... then comes an initial packet and then one more even more onerous ... then background checks and other fun stuff ... you should check your "spam folders" to make sure you didn`t miss something (or resubmit) as the first follow ups are fast and easy on their part and you don`t want to get lost in the shuffle.

Doug Did your make it to the Shark Tank TV Show? There are still 5 more episodes left that's going to be aired this January 8 onwards and I am excited to know if I'm going to see you swim with the sharks.

No, I am not going to be on.

After talking to the shows Producer, who  loved my "Off the Wall" Extreme Ping Pong concept, I doubt if I followed to the line of their massive checklist of legal mumbo jumbo. I didn't hear back one way or the other.

I have watched the show and while it is a good concept, it lacks substance I thought it might offer.

I guess the bottom line is its a TV show for entertainment.

Why? Do you like my Patent Pending idea too or just curious?

In the meantime I am open to a VC situation at this point.

Aloha

Doug

I'm just curious and just like your idea, by the way why don't you pitch your "OFF THE WALL" Extreme Ping Pong to Angel investors? I've seen their site and they are accepting pitch from people with great idea, They are at http://www.SharkTankTVShow.com .

Sharktankfan,

Thank you, I do imagine a huge world wide market for this Product/Sport.

With a huge line of ad/sponsorships & extra profit generating sides shoots from this!

Any idea how the show itself is doing?

Is another season planned?

I will checkout the Angles page there as well.

Take care

Aloha

Doug

I think the shark tank only wants products that have a proven track record. They need a real show that truely helps new inventors. Something like swimming with the guppies.
