Even though I`ve been an administrative assistant for a zillion years, I am really nervous about starting up my own VA business.  Somebody please tell me this is normal!?  Thanks!!

Absolutely normal!  Most people experience the pre-startup jitters.  Just relax and do what you do best.  Believe me..... you`ll have more nervous moments in business!  Just keep it simple, learn from your mistakes, celebrate your victories and enjoy yourself~

Good luck to you!

Being nervous is certainly normal :)  Anytime anyone makes a change from a natural comfort zone to the "unknown" there is sure to be some nervousness involved.  Just keep your focus and keep your head up and good things will follow you.  I was told once before that success is when preparation meets opportunity.  As long as you`ve done your "homework" and prepared and gotten the things in line that you need to to make the leap to your own venture, success will follow you (as long as you continue to put in hard work along the way).  Keep in front of you the reasons why you are doing what you are doing.  Nerves may exist, but what waits on the other side in the long term is certainly worth it in the end :)

Best wishes on your new venture!

You are so normal!!  It`s scary taking that entrepreneurial leap.  That`s why not everyone does it.  If it were easy and "comfortable" this world would be filled with a whole lot of Chiefs and not enough Indians.  Good for you for entertaining the idea.  There are thinkers and there are doers.  Hope I see you in the doer club soon!  Very very best of luck and yes, please keep us posted!

Nope, definitely not normal. In fact, you`re probably the only person who gets nervous about starting a business. National surveys have shown that 2 people have started a business within the past five years, neither of whom were nervous.

On the other hand, maybe you`re nervous about something else and accidentally thinking you`re nervous about starting a business?

Having butterflies in your stomach is perfectly normal. It is 60 seconds before the big game, and you are preparing mentally. Writing down a to do list will help you overcome some of what you are feeling. Do not get to the point where you cannot sleep at night.
