Roland, once again you`ve provided a terrific bit of help! I was curious and went to check out the text-only cache on our Web site. I never thought of that, didn`t know how it worked, and so forth.

What I noticed immediately was that in place of any graphic images, I had ONLY the "Alt=" tags. I`d put in good keywords on most of them, but not all, and wouldn`t have noticed the "overview" this way! I also saw that what I was using for key phrases was a bit out of date. We`ve found a couple of better ones since the last crawl (May 6). So I changed them, filled in alt-text on a missing line, and put in the new key phrases.

I can preview a page, see it online, and of course IF I click an image, quickly see the alt-text. But the text-only cache gives me a fast overview. So....is there a way on a browser to "turn off" images temporarily?

Thanks Roland, I`m definitely starting to realize I need to change my bold words, I`m just having trouble making it sound smooth.  I could always just keep it worded the way it is and bold the keywords in the paragraphs, which would probably end up looking kind of silly.

I also tried switch over the the <Hx> tags, but for some reason it completely threw off my alignment so I`ll have to work with that some more but I guess it`s not at the top of my priority list.  I`d guess the first thing I should do is get the bold words changed.

My content is helping me out, and I`m already starting to see clicks through google which is somewhat surprising since it`s only been up for a couple weeks now.

A tip on using Hx tags.... if you just add an Hx tag to some text it can make your page look different.  The "trick" is to change the Hx tag`s parameters in the CSS or style in the html to the same font, size, color, etc as exists BEFORE the change.  Once the CSS/style of the Hx tag is changed..you can apply the Hx tag to the text and the text will look the same but will have an Hx tag associated with it.

Craig - you can turn off "Load Images Automatically" in the Firefox preferences (I know you use Firefox) and then shift-reload the page, or clear your cache and reload the page.

CreditMogul - the idea is to use bold for emphasis, not decoration. If you want the bold at the beginning, rewrite the lines!

I am very appreciative of the information you guys are putting out here. I am curious about these hx tags.

Ronald you suggest to change parameters in the CSS file. Will I be creating a code like this?

.h1{
 color: #333333;
 font-size: 12px;
 font-style: normal;
 font-weight: bold;
}

Why, yes, Alicia/JDawg, that is how the code is written except remove the "." and you`ll be fine....

Well, now I am perplexed. I can`t attach an h1 value to a portion of the sentence/paragraph. Either the whole paragraph is atrributed with h1 or it`s not. I don`t know what to do... any good resources/links on learning about this?

I know, I will end up having to rewrite the lines at some point I believe. Hopefully this weekend I`ll be able to sit down and re-work those sentences so I can put my keywords in bold.

I`m also going to experiment more with the <hx> tags, hopefully I`ll be integrating those as well.

I`ll be posting updates in here as my SEO quest continues...

JDawg - The use of hx tags is a little debatable.

Personally, I use classes instead of hx tags. Eventually, I think XML will give us the meaning we want. But for now, just make sure the content displays on the page and use your title tags, and you`re golden.
