I am nearly finished writing my cookbook.  I need help on how to write a query letter.  Also, does anyone know of a good agent to contact for getting the cookbook published?

I also plan to publish it on its dedicated website www.thefoodintolerancecookbook.com, which I have already parked.  Most of the recipes and added information comes from my subscriber website Song of Health.

Thanks for any help you can give.  If I were to write a few lines for a query letter, could anyone critique it for me?

Hi SandraS,

I might be able to help as I'v written a number of Query letters to editors.  But, mine have always been to magazine or newspaper editors.  Yo can also get some really good advise and query samples at several web sites.  Try Writer'sWeekly.com or Writers Market for starters.

You can also self publish your book through a POD (publish on demand) publisher.  These use to be called Vanity presses - played on the vanity of new writers.  But now POD's have become respectable publishings companies.  Writers Weekly site can help you find a POD.

If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to contact me through my web site at
