I am new to this site so let me tell you a little about my business.

Last year after searching for a monitor cover for my computer and not being able to find one that I liked I decided to design my own and sell them on the internet.  I do not have a brick and mortor store.

What computer programing knowledge that I have is what I learned in high school (we won`t talk about how many years ago that was) and I have forgot most of it and it`s obsulete anyways.

So when I went to set up a store  I went with a e-commerse site with templates.  Something that was easy for me to add products to.  This may not of been the best choice but with the very limited funds that I have available, hiring someone to do it for me was out of the question.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No bad.  The writing isn`t very focused or interesting but
the site is okay.

I`m a little bit surprised at the juxtaposition of Christian imagery
with occult imagery.  Seems a little controverisal to work both
angles at the same time.

Neat idea ..... I would love something like this for my monitor.

You definitely need to show more of them on the home page .... it looks like you only have one style, when after clicking a few pages you actually have quite a few .... show off what you do to your visitors right away .... show what you`re capable of, your variety, and different styles to get the attention of all types of personalities ... plus it adds color and content and, above all, interest.

What if I wanted one custom made with my business logo? Is that possible? That was one of the first things I thought of when seeing your page, but it isn`t easy to find out exactly what you can do along these lines ....

Where are your shipping policies? What does it cost? Are there any specials? Things along those lines, stated up front, can help create more interest and answer common visitor questions right away.

I would like to know which site you used to do your site and how you did incorporate the shopping cart into the site. My knowledge in this area is also very minimal. Appreciate if you would let me know more details.

Thanks.

I agree with Loren, that the site is pretty decent, despite it being a template type of situation. We`ve found that for a single, basic product line, these kinds of turnkey systems DO work pretty well.

My personal opinion is that your photography could be touched up, to make the images brighter and more "fun" looking. Right now, they look a bit dark and gray.....lackluster or listless comes to mind.

But aside from that, Webline has an important point: Can you do custom logo work?

juxtaposition - placing or being placed in nearness or contiguity or side by side

Had to look that one up

I thought about breaking thing down into sub catagories (sayings, christian, biker, ect.)  but thought it might make the site harder to navagate. I was thinking that the more steps that someone had to go threw the less likely they would be to look.

I did the suggestions from webline.  I add more pics to my home page and added the shipping rates on the left side.  While I was doing that I relized that my Thawte badge wasn`t on it so I added that to the top by the shopping cart.

The custom covers with Logos is on my to do list.  If you are interested in one with your logo please contact me.

I wasn`t thrilled with my pics either.  I thought they needed something too but I`m not sure what. Do I need to put a back drop to change the background color?

Myhomeoffice- If you are looking for ecommerce site to take payments then look for one with intergrated shopping carts.  I went with prostores but depending on your needs you will probly need to research a few of them.  Other things you will need to research are payment processors  and ssl certificates.  The site may be intergrated with a shopping cart but you will still have to have someone process the payment.

Thank you for your suggestions.  Please take another look at my site and see if you think it is better.

I was thinking just to brighten up each image using some sort of photo editor. Here`s an example.
